    Beautiful Image.
    Do you know why the kingfisher looks in the sky?

    Superb pose, detail, lighting and background Johnny, who needs waders when you have Kingfishers doing this?

    I think you are proving the point on the thread about equipment and photography.
    Super IQ from equipment and a great pose for the bird.

    That is really encouraging as the constant reference to expensive gear was at times getting to me. I would see a fault in a picture and started to blame it on equioment. I was determined to beat it and so your comment means a lot. Thanks.

    Killer pose, colors and details you acquired here. I see a little noise in the BG.

    John;

    The dynamic pose and colors make this one sing. Yes to a bit of noise reduction on the background. Again, a good reminder of what is possible with effort, timing and a bit of luck.

    Cheers

    Excellent pose, details & composition. I would suggest another round of NR on the BG as mentioned above. TFS

    I'm late to the party. This is a fantastic image with great details, colors, and good light, and at close range. You have done a superb job to more than compensate for the lack of expensive equipment. Loi
