Default Golden Crowned Kinglet # 2

I know I am pushing it with this one, but I would like to hear (read) what you think.

7D, 500mm@ 6.3, 1/320, ISO 1600, HH, 50% crop, a few twigs cloned out - including one going through the body. Used audio to attract the bird.

    comments welcome

    Clarity and PP going together.
The bird has come out very well.
May be a little more crop eliminating part of the left side would have worked even better,

    Thanks for your comments...

pushing it because I was HH at 1/320, for one thing...

because I had to do some cloning work (a distracting twig behind the bird and a couple more - this is not so much pushing it but I had to make sure it looked natural)

because I was shooting at ISO 1600 with the 7D and with no direct light ( I had to so some selective noise reduction on the bird and a couple of rounds on the BG)

and because according to my calculations, this crop represents 49.3% of the original image size in px.

this is pushing... my limits anyhow...

but I like the way it turned out... so I guess I know now that the limits are not what I thought they were...

Enrique pleased you explained pushing it must admit I could not see a problem perhaps a tad off the left but can't make up my mind, the bird looks spot on!

Hi Enrique, all your work has turned out just fine. I like the downward pose, and that we can see how the little feet are holding onto the perch. Love the golden crest, and the tiny leaf in the beak. The only thing I would change is the comp. I would change this to a vertical, coming in a lot from the left, and some from the RHS too.
