    Hello,

    this year we were able for the first time watching the Purple Heron in the rearing of the Young.
    Here you can see my favorite family.



    Germany/Baden-Württemberg
    Canon 1D MKIV * Canon 800 5.6 + 1.4x * f/8.0 * 1/500s * ISO 800 Berlebach/Sachtler.

    Love this species. Love this image. It looks like an Audubon folio print. Wonderful sharpness and d-o-f on the two adult birds.

    Thanks for the comments about the Picture

    i take this picture in Germany, Nature reserve Wagbachniederung. In recent years, they have always been brooding deep in the reeds. But this year they came to the reed edge.
