    Default Wounded Lioness

The lioness was wounded while taking down a wildebeest I guess. Despite her injury she remained focused on her kill and after brief rest, continued to enjoy her meal.

    Good PP work here, Sanjeev.

The grass is an obvious nit, though personally I would like more space below. Perhaps if you crop from the top it would balance the image out better.

A second vote for a more letterbox shape.

Hi Sanjeev - Looks like a bad wound, glad it doesn't seem to affect her hunting. Good crop suggestion above and the pp does look good, except for those few spots of whites again. Do you have the blinkies turned on so that you can see hot areas in the LCD when in the field?

    Rachel

    HI Sanjeev,

another vote for crop from top. Thought you watch now your whites!
You need to know, when we see a image of yours, our first check is the whites, as we know by now that is your weakness in pp, better said, you forget. Put a post it on your screen as a reminder
    Details look great to me

The lioness looks great, also hope the wound did not get infected at any stage later on. Have seen once a lion with an infected wound, was not nice at all!

    Have a great weekend

    Ciao

    Hi Sanjeev

Love the pose, the injury adds interest.

    Agree with crop.

    Won't mention whites

    The grasses do not bother.

F5 worked well for the right DOF.
    Regards

    Andre.

    Hi sanjeev,
pose is nice , wound not that much, but that`s life in the bush.

Would leave everything as is, whites are more than OK for me.Evtl. some slight eye doctor, but not much.

Thanks everyone. I will be more careful with the whites henceforth. I have the blinks on in my camera, just sometimes forget reviewing it in the heat of the moment.

Can't add much here but that your PP has shown remarkable improvement in your last few posts. Agree with the crop suggestion and to have a look at the whites.
The grass is a nit but it's luckily just one blade
