    A bird from the same group on my patch as in my previous dodgy post, but with better light...

    1/2500
    f/8
    ISO800
    SLT-A77 with Sigma 150-500 at 500mm
    About 50% crop
    Small NR in RAW
    Tweaked levels in PS and unsharp mask

    Hi Michael,

    You caught a very nice pose here in great light and got good detail in the lights and darks. The exposure looks perfect! I think this would play well as a horizontal or squarish format, if the sides are where you have more canvas. It would be regarded by some as a bit tight in the frame. It would also be good to level the "horizon" if the original capture has the room. (if not, many people will add canvas and fill n the missing areas with cloning or content aware fill.)

    YOu did a great job on exposing for this bird, and you have many nice feather details. I like seeing his toes!
