Hi all, took this photo at Western Treatment Plant on 5/11/13 at 3.42 PM. 5d mk iii, f/8, 1/2000, iso 800 with a 2x extender shot at 1000 meters handheld with a slight crop.

Hi Mervyn and welcome. Well done in what looks like relatively harsh light. Sharp. Like the image design. Did you lighten the iris?

Good effort in some challenging light Merv! Nice wing position. I reckon this is a Little Raven.... (Forest R. is found more south - Anglesea in the west, Walkerville/Prom in the east,

Hi guys, yeah this is a Little Raven I made a mistake on the name :P
On PP I did nothing but a bit of a crop, I was pretty happy with this shot but I was pretty lucky as it was a cloudy day and I had a nice bright sun over my right shoulder and the Raven flew right through the cloud which gave it a nice effect.. I was pretty happy when I uploaded this photo to my pc as it was just a test shot to check the exposure on the camera.. :)
