Excellent detail & colour on this big guy Rachel, considering the flat light, could you not extract any colour out of the water by any chance?
Some nice battle scars showing.

Thanks Marc - I think the color of the water is accurate. It was more brown in the shallows of the cove of the fjord, no blues coming through.
Thanks again,

Hi Rachel,
what a big one. I only can agree with Marc on the details. Sharpness in the face looks a tad over sharpened to me, but can be his skin! I like it a lot.
This chap could have cleaned himself a bit before you took the image, guess he wash' aware of that
Have a great eve

Rachel, is this FF on the RHS?

Hi Rachel, that's a shame as I think tighter and more to the RHS could have also worked well nicely. Good colour and detail, might just bring down the brighter part of the walrus on the very RHS?
Cheers
Steve

Impressive looking fellow Rachel.
For me there is a bit too much water in the foreground and I would crop a bit off so that we are closer to the walrus.

Hi Rachel,
nice big fella.
Good detail, like the subtle coloration, low POV works nice.
I think it is crying for pano, too much of water visible, just my 2 cents.
