Frosted Ring-billed Gull

I have been playing around a lot using different techniques for doing final processing of images. This image is basically an Orton image except that I used Photomix Pro to blend the exposures. The original image is a full frame shot. I saved one as a 20 range gausian blur and I added about a 1/2 stop to the second image then combined them. Just foolin' around really, but I kinda like this one.

I like it too, Paul, it's a little softer than the original Orton and the light is really enhanced with the treatment. Thanks for sharing it!
