Marbled Godwit at Sunset; and 5K Thank You

Taken just before sunset at Moss Landing, CA last month. I know the reflection isn't mirror-sharp, but I liked the way the setting sun turned the Godwit to gold, and the serene feeling.

Since this is my 5,000th post, let me take this opportunity to thank everyone at BPN for your constructive comments and encouragement over the past 4 1/2 years. Your support has been of immense help to my technique and vision over that time, and I look forward to more of your help, and continued growth, in the years to come.

A nice pose and image of my personal spark bird.... Mazel tov on 5K. Perhaps taking some yellow out of the bird would make the colors look a bit more natural. Love everything about the water.

Bill the bird does look a little yellow but that could be down to the nice light you have so I don't think I would like to see that changed and I certainly do not have a problem with the reflection, very nice indeed.
5000 post your working very well Bill.

This is a nice shot with wonderful light. I like the water reflections on the feathers.
It is 7:00AM so my eyes may be a bit sleepy, but I think this could be sharpened a bit more

Thanks everyone. Your comments and suggestions are always appreciated. Here's a repost with just a little more selective sharpening -- I didn't want to overdo it. As to the color, that yellow-gold plumage is pretty much the way I remember it in the setting sun, and was why I was attracted to the scene. Here, I've moved the yellow/blue slider +5 points to the right. I'm not sure which is more accurate; this may be slightly too cool.
