Hi Brendon - a strong portrait with excellent sharpness and detail. Good choice on the dof. Not sure if this ff, but I'd like just a tiny bit more room above. Nice creamy bokeh too.

Hi Brendon, know the guy well, like the females, he is awesome and a formidable character.

Nice side profile, with a cool BKG, but I agree with Rachel, more room above to include that imposing maine would be great. Perhaps a hint more selective sharpening on the very tip of the nose or as you had the SS, I think a bit more DOF? I think you could get just a wee bit more in the brighter whites, so selectively adjusting would help I feel.

Wonderful portrait Brendon, and I love the space you gave this lion. I like the crop, it adds emphasis to the lion's facial features and brings the viewer closer to him. That clean and soft BG is a killer. Good thinking and processing as always!

    Warmest regards,

    Hi Brendon,

a fantastic portrait of this proud chap. Love the details and for sure the BG. I agree with Steve & Rachel on a bit more room above, but not to much disturbing me.
    Very nice done

    Have a great eve

Strong portrait here bud. Love the look on his face and overall detail. Good suggestions above, I too would like a sliver more on top - not sure if you have it though?

Lovely intent expression on the lion's face. Would agree on suggestions made already, but think the image is great as presented. Must say that I love the background.

Quite an in-your-face shot! I like everything about the framing and composition, and would definitely look into slight burning of the highlights on the chin and under the nose.
