    Default Lesser Sand Plover

    Attached Images Attached Images

    Made with a handheld Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500.
    F6.3 | ISO 400 | SS 1/640 @ 500mm. Manual | Eval.
Crop | USM | NR on BG.

The BG colors were really as saturated as you see in the image.

Love the sand ridge, the BKGR, and the perfect head angle and pose. This species seems quite like our Wilson's Plover.

    Hi Girish

Stunning comp, nice detail on whites, pinsharp, love the clean BG.

My only suggestion would be to darken sandy ridge, detracts a bit from bird.

Terrific HA, detail. BG does look very saturated, but that's the way you saw it, so that's how it should be. I would also consider darkening the oof foreground.

Terrific low POV and love the light and the pose.
This guy reminds me of a species in Florida- the wilson's plover. I wonder if they are related?
I do wish for a view of the feet but not a deal breaker.
I would take a sliver off the bottom.

Grand little bird. I would certainly darken the foreground.
    Great light too.

A darker foreground and slightly higher vantage point would have given a stronger result IMO, but I do love the wide-leg standing pose and IQ on the subject. Nice BG too!
