Dan,
Greetings. The red - green color contrast is mesmerizing. Unfortunately, the foreground doesn't keep up with the subject and background. I like the detail & eye contact, but the color makes it for me.
Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
-Michael-

nice low angle, I don't have a problem with the FG but wish we could see the feet too

Hi Dan
Love the POV, agree with 7,1 you should have more DOF- even the bill is slightly OOF. What was focussing distance, or is this FF?
The reds are red!! Stunning!
Andre
Hey Dank, Sharp. Nice light. The foreground shadow line bugs me. I remember the heads of these birds being more red (than orange as here....)

I like this one best Dan. Very nice HA and pose and I like that green BG. Great detail form that 800. I dont mind not seeing the feet too much and I think the color looks about right, about identical to my shots of this species. Another keeper.
Mahalo for sharing :)
Hi Dan, love the low angle, and what a pose, but best of all, the light is exquisite. The reds of the head really stand out against the green BG. Well captured.
