    Great image David.

Love the colours and the pose. Its sho hard to catch ducks in flight with a clean background.
I wondered if there is a slight blue cast looking at the white feathers on the wing? I'm not sure if is the monitor I am on at the moment though.

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Iain, Thanks for the comment but I dont see any blue on the white feathers? Might be your monitor?

I remember your earlier shots of this species, and you've nailed this one just as nicely. Spectacular colors. There may have been others in your collection with better wing angles, but I'd take this in a heartbeat. Superb image.

David, you have the best BIF pictures ever of this species (and some others) and this is no exception.

Thats amazing David. The colors are so rich, and well exposed, Looks like a nice wing position to let you see all the colors on the top of the wings. Great Job with the processing too.

Now I'm at home I don't see a cast on my monitor here. Well done once again.

You just can't get a better flight shot of these beautiful ducks.
They are so fast, I am surprised you get them this sharp at 1/3200.
    Very skilled…….

Nicely captured David! Great wing position and eye contact. Colors are vibrant, but not overly so. Wouldn't change a thing!

Hi David, the light has shown up the colours nicely, especially against the water BG. Great that the head is separated from the far wing, and overall, nice and sharp.

Isnt it fun to fire bursts as fast flying subjects fly by, and then to see you you've nailed it in the frame.

Beautiful shot and exposure. There are so many shades of color when they're in flight, that it can be extremely difficult to get all of them right. You did a superb job!
