    Taken today.........bright overcast........5 hours in 1 spot.......550 frames....mostly portraits.......start mating......rip off 6 shots.......flash didn't fire on this one F*%+!#?*$!!.....hence much better almost.......Tree swallow decides to go for round 2 of action.......click.....CF card full...........F******* ?#%**!!

I like this one better than my other earlier post because of head angle.......had my flash fired this would have been off the charts.......another day tommorrow!

Yes, a lot better than yesterday. Did you use some SH/H on the heads (esp. the top bird's as that one looks muddy. Wonderful BKGR; did you bring your ladder??? The top bird wins the wing postion prize, the female the head angle prize. And most amazingly, not too tight in the frame... I am impressed.

The forecast looks good for tomorrow, maybe you won't need flash. :) I like the poses, especially that one can see the male's left foot grabbing her wing. Maybe a bit more contrast.

    Hi Artie & Axel,
No ladder Artie........moved back and wider.......did forget to mention a little crop top and front..........Axel........these guys expose better in bright overcast. White and Dark Electric blue just don't want to go together. I have a bunch with nice light.....none mating? Like I said..........try and try again.
PS See Artie.......even when I was composing......your voice was inside my head about the space! I didn't need another voice in there!

    Hi Roman!

Much better than the prior post! You sure have determination! I agree with all the above, and can't wait to see your next effort.
