The clear late evening sun turned the mountains a rose/pink color, so I was really happy to get this adult doing a full back in the sweet light against the mountain backdrop.

    Just stunning Alan.
Love the light and the unusual BG with the pinkish snow.
Tack sharp and superb detail in wonderful light.
Hard to find anything wrong with this one.
I did notice the dark smudge ( caused by rock ridge?) behind the top wing. If I was printing this for a client I might get rid of it but that is really a minor, minor observation.

Poses don't get much better than that! Same goes for the light. Techs are excellent too.

I'm not sure you could have asked for a better wing position. I find myself really liking the less than perfect tip feather (left wing). Another gem!

Another top notch image, Alan!!! Your light and BG are simply stunning. Your bird just pops against it and the pose is just spectacular!!!

Every thing has been said about this wonderful flight pose. Love the symmetrical wings and fanned tail feathers.
