Hey, Mitch, I think I recognize this sunset! The translucent whites of the sails have a nice glow to go with the sunset.

Awesome to go back to old slides! I really like the composition and ides, but wonder if the colors of the boat should be tweaked a little to make them match the rest of the image a little more -- then it would really mess with minds. Not sure what I'd do, though, as you are looking at the shady side of the boat. Just a little darker...??

Nancy,
Last week, we had a partial eclipse on the East coast. The sun rose in eclipse. We had clouds that morning, but there was a smaill break, and we could see the eclipse for just a few minutes...

Amazing. I think I see what Diane means but the gold of the eclipse is not hitting this side of the boat. It is behind the boat and so not affecting the white of the sails, etc. I kind of like the contrast.

Really good post work especially on that one guy wire. Great mixing of elements. This looks a serious sailing ship, was it the America Cup?

I first looked at the sun--due to brightness and title. Then, down to the marvelous sailboat. I expected the boat to be more stylized--not sure why. Just giving you my first impressions. The water and reflections are gorgeous. I think maybe brightening up the sails a bit would help the boat to stand out and fit in.

Yes, a serious racing boat, but not America's Cup. Trying to remember... I think she was called Gem.
