    Good job of getting close to this bird in the NE. The light looks harsh rather than soft and late and I could really do without the extra branches. In addition, the eye looks funky to me. All in all, this one does not do it for me.

    Hi John! Nice feather detail in this photo. I'm not crazy about the heavy branch over the top of the bird; it gives the photo a very cramped look.

    I like the perch and BG and agree that the branches at the top are a bit overpowering.

    Hi John,
    Possible corrections mentioned. How close was it to sunset........as the shadow look not that long for late afternoon. Nice detail in the bird.

    I like the BG and the lower perch and the bird, the top branches mess it up for me anyway. I really like these birds, so sleek and fast and really good subjects.
