This guy was walking alone looking for food I guess, I shot this through the window of the safari vehicle. Raised the ISO as he was moving to get a faster SS. Tried to get a head-on pose but he wouldn't cooperate :-)

Very nice image of a single hyena on the move, especially with that one front leg up. I think the hyena could be just a bit lighter/brighter, especially in the face. I like that the bkgd is simple with few details. Another presentation could be more of a pano, emphasizing the hyena and his motion more.

Hi Sanjeev, I think it just needs a bit more sharpening to the subject. I agree with Nancy going more pano, try the well tested 16 x 9 and if you have the RoT's grid activated in PS, have the ear tips just touching the 2nd horizontal bar. Keep the width as is, looks good.

Actually Sanjeev, looking at the image again, you could just lighten the face a tad, just be careful.

Great image Sanjeev. A bit off the top so a pano crop as suggested above will work well. TFS

    Hi Sanjeev

Crop as Steve suggested, Lumi layer to light up face and over darker areas, D&b layer - burned @ 4% to darken BG slightly, selective sharpening on face.

    WDYT?
    Regards

    Andre.

Steve, Carl, Andre & Nancy, thanks for your suggestions. The Pano idea is good and it does look better that way. Andre your RP is an improvement certainly. I like it.

    Hi Sanjeev,
good on the move hyena frame, with a little bit of work as stated above by all the nice persons in here, you could improve it.
I do find , specially the area around the eyes too dark and lifeless.
I would darken the whoöe grass areas and giving them a bit more oomph, at least parts of it.

Looks great, nice detail and the RP has helped the face open up a little, the pano suggestion was my first impression as well, great image once again.

Nice pose here Sanjeev - overall just looking a tad flat to me?
It's the umpteenth time I've mentioned it, but I would REALLY like to get to the bottom of why your animals have such a smooth look to them......fur detail should be crisper throughout...
