This is exquisite!! I want to do exactly like this! The shades of pink are luscious and the petals appear like fine silk. The composition and curves are perfect. The bit of soft yellow at the top is a good place to start my eyes that then slide down those curves. Super well seen and created!

Lovely as is, but an alternative could be to bring out more contrast in the center of the image. I duplicated the BG layer (or would do a composite layer on top of a layer stack) and did a high-pass sharpening effect on it, where you run Unsharp Mask with approximately 50-50-0 on the sliders (the exact amount depends on the image size). It's very similar to Clarity. Then I masked out the effect around the edges. Just gives a little more dimensionality, but that may not be what you are after. As I said, strictly an alternative idea. It's delicious as is!
Diane: I appreciate your suggestion. I, too, was trying to make that one petal stand out more. Here is a repost, incorporating your suggestion and some selective lightening. Don't know if this is an improvement or not.
I think it gives it a subtle touch of added dimensionality. There are so many things in Topaz and Nik that I think will do things like that, and I'm a master of none.
