The partner of the bright Red Crested Male I posted the other day.
I think the female, though not so striking, is more attractive.
They always traveled with two male birds, so a lucky girl!

The low angle is excellent Dan. I enjoy this bright sunny portrait of this pretty she bird. Details and sharpening look spot on. Besides the plumage, my favorite aspect of the image is the great head angle.

This is nice. The bold colors make it a real eye catcher and a pleasure to view.

What a stunning bird and love the way she pops against the amazing colors surrounding her. Lovely details and colors.

Great low angle, super bird with a good head angle and nice diffused background Dan. The colours make the shot stand out but just a little too saturated for my liking, but a pleasing image all the same.

Dan, this is a great shot. I really like it. Super minor bug is that twig(?) in the grass. Fine job. Keep 'em comin'
