    Another shot of the imprinted Barred Owl we visited yesterday. This was also taken outside as he was being taken to another flight cage.

    Good looking bird Sid !!! Seems to have a look of concern !!

    Would try a vertical crop and go tighter !!! You did well with the exposure and sharpness is not bad considering the focal length/shutter speed. Would increase contrast just a little !!!

    Alfred, I changed the crop to make it tighter and added more contrast. Also added some canvas at top. What do you think?

    Very nice image Sid! As far as the composition, I like both horizontal and vertical here...might have tried a horizontal with the owl placed on the left side (since he is looking to the right). The extra contrast you just added certainly helps. It looks to me that you did some heavy noise reduction on the image. Is that right? At ISO 320 I don't think you need much noise reduction, and that will allow you to preserve more detail in the feathers.

    Thanks for the help. Judd, I did run a noise reduction once after I saw some noise crop in. I plan on redoing this from the raw image and will omit the noise reduction.
