Another Hare from work I am working on at the moment but being interrupted by the shooting season and a farmer that says he thinks that 3 Hares will eat as much as 3 sheep.

Thanks for looking and any comment you would like to make C&C much appreciated.

    Hi Keith

Those eyes pops! I like this. I think you handles the colors and light very well. I do think the hare leans to the right, and I would straighten him up a bit. I might very well have leaned, but I would straighten him anyway.

Hi Keith - another nice shot of the hare. Great expression though I do sort of miss seeing the ears. Can't have everything though. Nice eye level pov and sharpness looks good. Gregor's suggestion is a good one if you can straighten without losing too much space around.

Hi Keith, a very different image of this species and with the ears swept back, quite unusual/quirky. Nice sharpness, clarity & detail, DOF looks good. I don't have any concerns about rotation, bit if you have more space then I would move the whole crop a fraction more to the right so there is less to the LHS. Can't believe you get this close! I might be tempted to prune the stick to the LHS and the bright 'blob' but that's the next step. Good to see you upping that ISO.

    Hi Keith,
like this akward looking and unusual hare shot , with cut off ears.
Comp is working fine, in my eyes.
Overall i do find the tones a bit flat, likewise the colors.
Some parts in the fur are looking very soft without any detail ? Reason ?

    Just my thoughts.
I try to illustrate with this RP, not saying it is perfect that way.

Thanks a lot folks, Rachel I was trying to capture the wild startled look oh this Hare hence the lack of ears but I do know what you mean I have lot's more with ears in different pose's which I will post at a later date,Gregor I take your point re angle thanks for that, Steve and Anette thanks for your input ,Andreas I like your repost colour and vibrancy are a subject I have been giving a bit of thought to since I have been on this site still got a lot to learn if I can take it all in. (Some parts in the fur are looking very soft without any detail ? Reason ) wish I new the answer to this perhaps others will have ideas.

This image caught me by surprise! It looks almost like you were using a wide-angle lens with the nose so close & the big eyes! Beautiful detail in the fur & whiskers.

I quite like this pose with the ears hidden! Nice POV and angle too. Overall it feels too yellow/green for me - colour balance?

Thanks Morkel I do seem to be having a bit of a problem with colour balance had some good tips on here to correct this so I will try some adjustment.
