Hi Folks..warblers are starting to come through now at a local place called Mud Lake, it is always full of warblers during migration. This Parula couldn't have cared I was near, he was busy looking for a mate. This is one of my favourite warblers...11 species this morning. Not crazy about the background removed some twigs with CS.

    Hi Paul,

I have to agree with your own critique regarding the BG, I also find the surrounding too busy and strong for your subject.

    Keep them coming!

Hi Paul! Your self critique is quite good. BG is definitely too strong. Easy enough to fix if you so desire. Noise levels look pretty good for ISO 2000.

The face and the eye (especially) and the entire bird look on the dark side from here. The underexposure undoubtedly caused by the large white sky area behind the bird... Get back out there and make some more; warblers are hard to come by.

Beautiful bird and nice details. Too bad about the bright spot. I hope you'll get another chance to photograph this species.
