    I have no idea why the perch has turned out like this as it was on a separate LM. I will have to repost to sort it out.

    That is a great pose with great light. Yes the darn perch is a bit distracting but that bird is great

    I missed this perch issue as I am incredibly frustrated with posting at the moment. Since I changed to Mountain Lion my wifi keeps dropping. Not sure how I am going to solve it yet

    I hope this a bit better. Still not sure where I went wrong so I included the perch and bird on the same layer mask for now. I also should have upped the ISO so that I could get a better dof.

    Good action captured here, bird looks pretty sharp. Background`s a bit distracting?

    Carl perch nit well covered but that is a cracker of a bird very well caught.

    Thanks Cheryl,Gerhard and Keith. I tried a few things to improve on background but yes it is. I will in time find a better option thanks again

    Hi Carl,
    I have had some good success with the Nik software Viveza plugin, decreasing structure with selected points works for my backgrounds.
