    Default Peregrine Falcon on Prey

This was captured in Summer 2013 on a bird of prey day in Northumberland UK. It took its time to
pluck and dismantle the carcase and ate the lot!

    Exposure 1/2500 sec; f/7.1; ISO 2000

This is quite a powerful image/story. You were blessed with muted light (b/c you're in the UK no doubt ) which definitely helped you get the great details and saturation in your colors. I think I might be tempted to go a little wider if you have the canvas top and right just to see which you prefer, and maybe a tad off of the bottom. You really have a lovely BG.

Very very nice! Lovely details all round and nice BG. Maybe a bit of NR would take this image over the top

Awesome display of avian power. I agree with Marina's comp suggestion, but all else looks good. What is "bird of prey day"? An organized event, or just a day where you saw lots of birds of prey?

Killer behavior, great light and detail. A little tight for me though

    Hi Daniel

    Thanks for your post

This was my first ever organised day after avoiding the temptation to take part for years. My wife and I have traveled to many parts of the world capturing images of wildlife at great expense and after seeing what was being presented at club and international competition level we decided it was time to try out the experience. It was no where near as rewarding but I like the capture and thought it was worth sharing.
