    Default Macho Male Lion

After having a drink, the male lion walked towards our vehicle. Wanted to use f top of f/11 but bumped it to f/16 by mistake. He came closer but as I fired away, my 7D gave an error30 message so lost some closer shots. Had to replace the shutter on the 7D recently and its working well now.

Hi Sanjeev - He is an impressive looking male. We've all made those types of errors in the field. I would be tempted to crop some since the surrounding dirt isn't so photogenic. The lion looks a little smooth, you should be able to extract some more detail.

An impressive male indeed Sanjeev, however the angle of view is not ideal, also the riverbank/vegetation looks almost monochrome, did you adjust the colour here?

Good to see his face, Sanjeev. I agree the viewing angle is not the best, and the image overall looks a bit flat. There's again that overtly smooth texture overall which I am not sure where the origin is - but the image lacks fine detail throughout.
Glad to hear your camera is sorted now!
