Default Tufted Duck on coloured water

Ventured out today and managed to capture some birds in the sun this time rather than the dull overcast weather we've seen in the UK of late. I really like the water colours in the image and the patterns they have created. Comments always welcomed.

    Simon,

Greetings. Nice detail, the eye is mesmerizing... interesting the reflection of the eye in the water. Just a slight turn toward the camera...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Love the water colors and water drops on the duck. I would like to see this cropped a little tighter with a tad off the top.

Good details and exposure. Nice colours too and the wavelets in the water certainly are interesting. I'd have preferred a better head angle here, and perhaps less canvas below (way suggestive as evidenced by Cheryl wanting less above!)

My favourite part is the multi-reflection of the eye in the water! Maybe that is why you left that much room at the bottom. Only wish for a slight head turn.
