    Beautiful species, and I like the "conductor" pose. I agree with CCW rotation, and although not always possible a lower angle would have been extra.

    Very nice Frank. I think a slight CCW rotation is in order. Maybe some NR on the background.

    Agree with the CCW (however, that may "tip" the bird downward) and perhaps NR.... Great job getting this little guy in the "wing flap" pose! "Blue" wings seem a bit odd (probably just reflection, so that's ok) ... this is the oddest colored/marked Hoodie I've seen (we have TONS of them here... but too skittish for a photo op) usually the white neck patch goes up toward the crest, not down (BUT, that may just be "posture").... Rufous sides are usually a bit more orange. Possibly a youngster not quite done with the Fall molt? I would love to get close enough for a lovely photo like this.
