Nature's Best Winners Announced!

I just received an email announcing this year's Nature's Best honorees, and I'm happy to say that BPN was well-represented! First off, big congrats to Tin Man Lee for being this year's grand prize winner! Congratulations are also in order for Art in Nature category winner (and good friend) Greg Basco as well as category honoree Artie Morris. Moderators Marina Scarr and Cheryl Molennor were both highly honored in the Zoos & Aquariums category. Clemens Van der Werf was highly honored in the Birds category, Roger Clark in the Endangered Species category, and Austin Thomas in the Wildlife category. My apologies if I missed anyone. Can't wait to see the winning images!

Huge congratulations to all of the winners and honorees this year, esp to my fellow BPN members! It was tough competition with 4,000 more images entered than last year.

Appreciate the mention, Doug. It means so much to me that Cheryl and I have our images honored together and in the same category this year. We purchased our zoo passes together and had so much fun photographing there.

Over on the old world side of the Atlantic, this isn't a competition I'm particularly familiar with other than a vague notion of it's existence. However it appears to be a big deal so a big congratulations to those who did well. I'll have to look in to get a copy of the magazine.

I do not believe that Nature's Best has a calendar. You can google it and subscribe to their magazine. You will not find it in the bookstores. It is offered by subscription only.

I recognized a lot of names in the winners circle but was not aware that there were so many BPN members in there.
