    Default Ruaha leopardess.

The local guides @ Kwihala camp/ RuahaNP had named this beautiful 3yr old girl "Furaha" which is Swahili for joy!
My guide "Festo" was fairly certain that she was pregnant, so I'm hopeful of seeing her cubs when I return in Feburary.
This was F/F and really appreciated the open area and relatively clean BG that it provided, because as most here know who visit the dark continent, getting a leopard in such position comes along only rarely.
What really stood out with this female was the length of her tail, a good 6/8 inches longer than usual IMO.

    C & C always welcome.

A cracking leopard shot. Eye contact and lovely setting, check. Colours and sharpness and light, check.
You're making me want to head there!

Marc - Fantastic eye contact, love the inclusion of the long tail. Colors look good. Might consider blending in the 3 lighter branches in the bg a bit more (2 upper right, one upper left). This is one we would all love to capture.

    Rachel

This is wonderful! Perfect pose and that BG is so sweet. I would clone out the OOF branch to the left of the head as it tends to draw the eye away a bit. The other OOF branches are not as obvious but I would try to blend them in a bit more.
A dream shot as is though,
    Gail

Apart from the wildlife, you'd love the Baobab landscapes, Morkel.......this area has to be on your list.

Beautiful image very well captured in a lovely pose and great eye contact. The only small nits i can comment on in this image are that the black may be slightly underdone and if you not opposed to it i would remove the two oof branched coming down from the top of the image on either side of the leopard in the bg.

Hi Marc, nice relaxed pose with good eye contact.

I wish there was either more space to the left and less to the RHS, I just get the feeling the images is slipping left as cropped. I know you like NIK, did you use the White neutraliser (wedding dresses), if so I think it's pushed the yellows a fraction too much, just pulling them back I think would really help, likewise a few light rounds of USM on the face, just 'crispens' the details up. Softening branches in the BKG would also help.

Stunning image. I too wish for a tiny bit more on the LHS, and I think there's a slight green tinge to the image in total. The tail looks about right to me - very long, but normal compared to other leopards!

    Wish this had been mine!

    Hi Marc

    LOVELY image, green with envy.

All I would add- the bit on BG under branch-if only the tail was higher, and you could crop with no green in FG?-- in the perfect world?!

    Congrats is in order!
    Regards

    Andre.

If her tail wasn't so long Andre, cropping would have been easy.
