I just wanted to share one of the kaleidoscope images that I have been playing with. The original is actually a capybara image I took in the Pantanal of Brazil, earlier this month. I posted it in the Wildlife Forum. I thought the colors would translate nicely into a kaleidoscope. I used Pixel Bender, kaleidoscope. Then I treaked it in Topaz Simplify 4, oil paint. The variety that you can create from just one image can while away hours!

Hi, Nancy, well, I'd never guess capybara but I see lots of little bats Great colors!

Sorry, hit send by mistake trying to type on an iPhone while bouncing around in my husband's pickup. Was saying it evokes SW native American art. Maybe a snakeskin thrown in.

    I love it!

Nancy, the joys of tweaking images are what brought us all here I think! So much fun, like you had with this image. I love the colors and the organic patterns. I was dismayed when Adobe dropped the Pixel Bender project; I thought it was fantastic. Fortunately, it can still be used with CS5 Photoshop. Good one!

The image has depth and a stained glass quality. Well done.

I am addicted to Pixel Bender! I might even need a 12-step program!
