    Default Sanderling

    Attached Images Attached Images

    Made with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500 placed on a backpack.
    F8 | ISO 400 | SS 1/1250 @ 500mm. Manual | Eval
Levels | Crop | USM | NR on BG.

Nothing much in terms of comp. Had to crop out 2 OOF sand plovers on either side.

    Comments & Critiques most welcome.

The soft light and beautiful details on the bird are lovely. Excellent low POV.
I find the debris around and behind the sanderling a bit distracting.
I would reduce the amount of OOF FG by half.

    Girish:

    Excellent shooting angle, exposure.

The dark shoots behind the head and along the sides does tend to distract, because of the strong contrast. You might be able to soften them enough to reduce that effect.

    Cheers

Wonderful pose and details. Like the low POV. Yes, the oof foreground and cluttered bg are a little distracting.
