Default Canon Eos 1D x which camera sell ?

    Hello
I have a little problem and I would like a your tip about .
I have a Canon 1D Mark IV (and I am hppy about ) and 4 months ago I changed my 7D (used as second camera) with a %d Mark III (and it is fine..)
Now I would like find an used Canon 1Dx .(no easy) and off course sell a camera to have money.
    What I must do ?
Sell 1D Mark IV (but I will have no more 1x3) or 5D mark III ?
Or wai notice about the new 7D ?
    Thanks
    Gio

I sold my 1D4 3 weeks after I got the 1DX (see my review http://arihazeghiphotography.com/blo...impressions/2/). I only shoot with 1DX now.

if you want two pro bodies keep the 1D4 and sell 5D3, but if you want a pro body and a backup body that is lighter and easier to take to places sell the 1D4 (most people do this). BTW, It's hard to come by a used 1DX and you won't save much money if the camera is in good condition. I'd save myself the hassle and just buy new.

Thanks Arihaez you wrote right...but if I will sell 1D Mark IV I will remain with 2 full frame...instead if I will sell %d I will remain with two option (and if will arrive a very good 7D it could be the right second camera I hope)
Off course two professional cameras are more eavy and also Canon 1D Mark IV is an oldrer camera and now is more easy sell it intead after...this is my trouble,,,

Sell the 1d4 cause the 1dx and 5d3 share the same AF system with the only difference of a dedicated AF chip for the 1dx while the 5d3 has it shared with other camera functions.

You want to simplify your workflow.

Rumor has it that the 7d2 will share the same AF system as the 1dx and 5d3.

Hello Arash...I have decided to remain with my two cameras and I explain the reason of it (off course this are nly my valutation and could be possible it are wrong..)
I though to sell the 5D mark III because I would like remain with my Canon 1d Mark IV (I love this camera and its factory 1,3).
My 5d is new (I bought it on may 2013 and I made only 1300 shoots ; I used it with 70/200 with extender as second camera ad it is fine) and in Italy is more easy sell it instead Mark IV.
I found a used 1dx (bought on july 2013 with 8000 shoots) and its price (in Euros) was 4500..He would like also my 5D and the balance was 2400 Euros..but he lives far from me and to go and return I must pay about 150 Euros (oof course I would like see the camera before to pay...); so the total price is 2550 as balance . I found to sell 5D for 2200 and a new 1dx in Italy as best price is 5200 Euros.
    2200 + 2550 = 4750 for a used camerra instead of 5200 ... The difference is no too much and a new ia a new!...but is the 5d so mach better than 1dx ?
I have as long lens 500 F.4 is and 300 f.2,8 Is no new series and the best performance of the new camera is using new lens..I think..
Off course he Af is better than 5d but this difference is so big as 2550 Eros (or 3000) ?
    Those are my ideas...

The 5D III is a great camera. From where I sit, the only thing that the 1D X has on it is frame rate.... That said, if you ever tried a 1D X for a day you would need to own it. Get rid of the 1D IV and go full frame all the way like me :).

is the 1d mark 4 suddenly a bad camera ?? , i will go full frame when the full frame camera has enough pixels so that i can crop the picture until i have the same picture as taken with my 1d4

Artie, The 1Dx AF is MUCH faster than the 5D3 when driving a MKII super-telephoto lens such as the 600 II. Especially when you use a MKIII TC. Shutter lag is much shorter too, 5D3 is good but it's not a flight/action body IMO. It's good for other subjects.
