Here is a top side view of the same bird that I posted last evening. Thanks for the suggestions, Daniel and Gail, I applied them in this presentation.

    Grace,

I think I like this one a bit more than your last post (and the last one was stellar!). The position of the bird on the perch is great, and he gave you a nice pose.

Can't get over the orange and blue on this guy. I'd sure love to photograph one.

Only nit-pick is the dead leaf on the perch. But that's so minor compared to everything else.

I liked the front view but I like this looking back pose even better. Looking forward to seeing more images from your trip, Grace.

This is a sweet shot, Grace. I love the bird placed high in the frame and the singing pose with the top side view. The perch, light and bg all great.
From what I've read, the bluethroat is quite rare in Nome? Beautiful species that I hope to photograph some day.

    Hi Grace,
I like this one much better than the last one. And its a real nice one too, just looked. The comp is better and I also like the pose a bit better too. The techs really look great and the BG & the perch make for a beautiful shot. Calendar material!!
