Hi Frank,
A very nice pose and wonderful color in the background. The exposure on the blacks looks pretty good too.
Is this a very large crop. The IQ on this image just isn't there.

There are some lovely colors here and you have a nice pose from the coot.
Unfortunately, the IQ is not very good.
I feel you need more space on the left hand side to move the coot away from the edge. You also need to rotate the image CW.
You need to apply noise reduction to the BG.
I would also try to sharpen the coot to see if you can get some better details out,
