    Wonderfully rich colours Doug.
    Detail looks excellent throughout.
One small query: the white patch on top of the beak, is that a white patch or is it a highlight?

Hi Martin. It's a white patch on the bill.

Beautiful detail and colors! I might be tempted to take out the second reflection at the very bottom (where it shows the eye). Striking image!

Love that perky pose, water droplets and of course the bold colors of this image.

Looks good, Doug. I agree with Mike that the water droplets are a great bonus. I'd be up for heading over there to shoot if we have time in a few weeks.

    Cheers,
    Greg

Another great shot Doug. That background color is what makes it for me. That pond keeps producing some great backgrounds for you, and you keep taking advantage by putting some great subjects in them.

You've nailed the wood duck in flight, and now got this one in the water. So is the next shot one of the perfect wing flap? Looking forward to it!

Sweet. Looks like he's swimming in a Van Gogh painting. And the duck isn't too bad either. Simply gorgeous.

Hi Doug, one of the best wood duck images Ive seen. You have exposed and brought out the colours on this fellow so perfectly well - tack sharp too. I like the head pose, and the droplets add. Well captured.
