Some of you may have seen a similar one a few years ago but I updated it a bit and added the message. I used Pixel Bender Oil Paint and 2 textures including a red one.

This is the "Troll under the bridge", under the Aurora Bridge in Fremont, WA near Seattle. I was out there visiting my sister and she took me there. It's 18 ft. high and weighs 13,000 lbs. It's clutching an actual size VW Beetle as if it just snatched it off the Hwy.

Hi Judy, I do remember this guy. You put him to good use for Halloween! I think I will just decide to avoid crossing any bridges tonight...

I've seen this---without your great touches, of course. Well done. You made a troll more troll.

I don't know what the original looked like, but I love the wood-carving effect!

Thanks Kerry, Hazel and Diane! I'll try to locate the original. Speaking of wood-carving, I should try Moku Hanga Japanese woodcut app on it.

    WOW... Imagination and creativity.

I had to read your post twice, I can't believe this is a real thing that you did PP on..... something to go see on my bucket list.

    Very very well done.

Thanks Linz! This was fun to play with, and to see. It's made of concrete and steel and the eye is a hubcap!

Would love to see the original -- sounds like you really did some cool stuff here. I was envisioning the original as one of those chain-saw sculptures!

The red tones are great and I love how Pixel Bender oil paint creates those interesting swirls and softens harsh lines.

Excellent! Too realistic to look at very long.
