    5d mark iii, 500mm mk ii, f/8, 1/3200, iso 1600 hand held on a boat 2 hours off port fairy 9.18am 10/27/2013. canvas added below, stamp clone used.

    nice flight pose and good exposure on the whites

    I like the wing position and the exposure on the whites.
    I am not liking the bit of sky on the horizon. I would clone in some sea and give the bird a bit more space on the LHS.
    I also see a bit of a cloning artifact ( little black vertical line) just below and to the right of the birds right wing tip. Easy fix.
    Did you know you can post your images at a larger size? 1200 x 900 pixels and 400KB?

    Nice wing pose and exposure as mentioned. Regarding the sky line, I'm thinking you might be able to crop just at that line or a tiny bit above and get away with it without having to clone. Of course you would need to adjust thwe sides as well for proportion.

    Terrific wing position, and the repost shows how much detail you were able to get in the whites. I agree with all the comments above, but congratulate you on a tough capture. I know how tough the pelagic shots are, and hand-holding the 500 on a pitching deck is a masterful feat. You might run some noise reduction on the sea.

    Beautiful bird and way to get those whites exposed well. Pelagic shots are tough and this is great.
