    That's a nice looking bird. Good detail in the blacks and I like the water drops flying overhead.

    I like it, esp. the raised tail. With the light seemingly from our right, the right side of the head is in shadow and thus looks very dark and detail-less. (Sorry Steve.) You might try to lighten it without making it muddy, a tough chore...

    Where was the water from? Were you in a blind?

    All above mentioned improvements aside.......the angle on this one is very, very nice and unusual. It would have been interesting to see if more DOF would add or subtract from the image.

    When I read the title I expected a typical orchard oriole image. This one made me laugh aloud. Fun image.

    Artie, there is a small water feature at the Convention Center, no photo blind was used, birds canīt resist the temptation of the water.
