Composite of frame, image of little boy, head of Poe and a raven coming in to land. Tweaked colors to match. Also used lightly: Moku Hanga and Vintage Scene by jixipix. I hope y'all aren't tired of Poe-pics!

I'm not tired of Poe pictures. Each is so different. You are on a creative roll. I like this one very much. It all comes together beautifully. Putting the head on the child's body was genius. Perfect quote. I like everything about this image.

Judy, perfect combination of all of the elements that went into this image (including your imagination)

Judy, I'm not at all tired of looking at these cool creations! I love Poe, even did as a child. My parents were a little concerned that I was reading him at age 10, but I turned out ok. Well... Nice work on this one, love the juxtaposition of the Poe head and body. BTW, I think it was ME TV that was showing all Vincent Price movies the other day and of course many of them are Poe stories. Creepy stuff!

Thanks Kerry! I now like "creative creepy stuff" more than when I was young, except for vampire and horror movies which I don't watch.

Judy, you are on a roll with another great composite! Poe's head on that little boy's body really makes you do a double-take. Adding the crow was the perfect touch for a surreal feeling within a pseudo vintage photo, adding to the "dream within a dream" atmosphere. Good sepia colors pulling it all together.

Amazing -- I love the placement of the raven.

But what are you guys going to do for excitement after Halloween? I've been on the road and haven't even tried for this theme -- although today is the Day, it looks like I have another week -- I'll see if I can get busy but right now I'm feeling intimidated....

I'm not entering this theme either. Not all the themes are for everyone. I'm always amazed at the excellent work photographers on this forum come up with for the various themes.

Thanks Diane! I agree with Anita, not all themes appeal to me or I don't think I have any images (at least any that I could find!) to suit the themes so I don't participate. Other times I want to but just can't work it in.

I honestly cannot believe the thought in this image and your others......

You should write books if you haven't.... these would make great cards, or even signs like they make for Halloween like you get at a craft store.

Awesome, like something out of a dream.

Thanks very much Linz, that's quite a compliment! I may print this one but it will have to be small like 5 x 7 since the images I worked with are fairly small.
