It was a hazy day and now thinking back I might have been better of with F11. The sky seemed to be pretty dirty (or my lens?) and everything seemed to show at F18.
Brought up exposure by 1/3EV in LR5
Levels, Curves, Added Saturation to the sky only
It was a magnificent sight and this image does not do justice to what I witnessed with my own eyes. There were only me and my guide and the elephants, no other vehicle or people. We saw them at the tail end of their bath and there wasn't much time for me to compose. The matriarch took a step to come to investigate the vehicle and my guide decided to give her space and backed off.
Hope I will have another chance next year, so appreciate your comments and feedback very much both the field techniques for successful panorama and PP.
