Well done to get this jacana out in the open.
Great light and I like the trailing water droplets with the hint of a water ripple in the river.
I wish for a bit less wing blur but that is a minor issue
    Nice shot,
    Gail

Nice work getting this guy taking off, with a good flight position and HA. The spot of water ripple beneath him helps to ground the image.

Superb take off pose with nice wing position, beautiful colors, trail of water droplets and composition.

Crisp, good comp to include some of water.

My only crit is the bit of wing blur.

Hi Viv, love the light in this, and a great take off pose giving us a great view of those large feet. Nicely set against the clear water as a BG.

Beautiful Jacana in flight, comp is great and I love the colours. Image well processed and presented.

...sorry-I too wish for a bit less blur on the wings

    Kind regards,

I'm OK with the wing blur too. I'm really digging those huge trailing feet! I could go for a tad more room above, but still good as is. Although quite minor, I would remove the small yellowish spot in LLC.

Thanks everyone I should have used f5.6 instead of 7.1 for a slightly higher shutter speed. Andre I use aperture priority.

Great looking shot Vivaldo. The exposure and detail look perfect and I love those huge gangley feet. I wish for less blur too but still great as is. Nice work!
