    Default Blue Jay

This was taken last week in my backyard set up. The BG is an OOF cedar tree. These Jays come in very quick for peanuts in the shell and take off immediately. When the peanuts run out they will eat the sunflower seeds and stay on the perch, this is the easiest time to get them. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Jim, I think this is top notch. Sharp, great exposure, colors, background and composition. I wonder if you could have lifted exposure a tad, but overall, great image!

Lovely frame Jim. The background works very nicely, like the colours and head turned towards you, nicely done.

I just love these chatty, noisy, gregarious birds.
Good " thoughtful" pose with excellent IQ.
Great smooth BG as well. The light ( or lack of) has really helped with the white feathers which are so easy to blow out.
    Nice shot,
    Gail

Nice plumage on this guy. The blue against green is nice. On the fence with the head angle.

Hi Jim, you must leave the peanuts out and just place sunflower seeds, you will get plenty of practice with the Jay's hanging around. Love their colours, and a well placed perch to have a cedar tree as a BG.
