    Default Gannet vs redfish

This gannet caught a redfish near fishing boat and had no problem swallowing it, even though it stings.. The "head-first" rule is just important here :)

Nice action shot. I like the colors here.

Absolutely love the way the red of the fish contrasts with the blue of the water and the bird's eye. Perhaps a little more room all around. I'd like to see a 1200 pixel-wide version of this!

Great capture. I too would like a bit more room.

I would remove highlights around gannet mouth.

    I really like this.
IQ is excellent and how nice that the nictitating membrane was not shut.
The play of red and blue is lovely.
I feel that you need more room on the right hand side (RHS) and on the top as well.
I might also decrease the brightness of the image just a little bit.
    Great shot,
    Gail

Thank you all very much for your nice comments.
I agree with the crop and that it needs a little more space all around, but I didn´t have any choice because I only had some space to work with to the left and above.
It was taken from a fishingboat out to sea that was moving constantly and therefor it was quite hard to get the subject in action properly in the frame
