Moravian Tile Works
The outside of the Moravian Tile Works in Doylestown, PA.
This was a fairly boring photo, but I liked the architecture and the lens flare. Topaz Simplify>Paint brought out the main colors, the rest was mostly dodge, burn, clone, etc. I seem to be in the mood for wild colors.
how un-Anita-like, based on your former Amish photos,etc. Not a bad thing! I like the colors, too. How fun to be ale to work with these various filters, techniques, and create! Interesting how the cracks in the wall still allow the "old" to be there with the bright colors. Nice blend.
Love what the bright colors did to this! The deep blue makes a terrific base color for the wild pinks, oranges and turquioise. I also like the understated "flatness" of the building and the repeating windows with the totally surprising shapes of the bright colors. Good to share your wild side with us, Anita!

Anita, the bright colors and dark lines of the building look great and the lens flare and fantasy sky make a nice contrast. I also like all the diagonal lines of light against the straight vertical lines of the building. Fun it is indeed, to explore new ideas and techniques. I've learned a ton from virtually everyone here over the years!

And thanks for the link -- what amazing work! (All the categories are worth a look.) I'd love to know how she does it! But I guess that's a little like asking what kind of camera someone uses....
