    Default Walking Tall

A Mara Giraffe gracefully walked along our vehicle, couldn't resist taking a few shots. Used a fast SS to freeze motion. I have another frame with the HA facing us. Will try to post that if you wish. He/she was about to poop, hence the tail was up I guess!

I like the minimalist view here...nice pose and tail position.
I feel the high key would work better in a monochrome/desaturated type image - like in this repost...WDYT Sanjeev?

    Hi Sanjeev,

love this image. You ave the tall animal enough space around, very nice. I also like Morkel RP, I would add here a bit more contrast/black to the Giraffe. Just me

    have a great day

    Hi Sanjeev

This one makes me laugh. Really funny looking. That little tail is odd, compare to that large animal. I like both the color and b/w version, but prefers the b/w just by a small margin. I do think though that the edges of the Giraffe, look att the head, is a bit over sharpen.

My thoughts as well Morkel, as I scrolled down to your HK B&W, just not so much HK for mine. But certainly does suit this conversion better IMO.
    Nicely done Sanjeev.

Hi Sanjeev - the comp works very well and the techs look good. I like both versions with a slight edge to the color.

Thank you all. Morkel, I like the RP, it just looks a tab bright on my monitor.

That was sort of the point Sanjeev - then the blown out sky behind the giraffe isn't such a stark contrast to the subject and foreground...

I'm not such a fan of the high key images, but I think the b&w idea for this image is a good one. I would tone it down but I see the idea behind Morkel's RP - just not to my liking.

Hi Sanjeev, love the walking pose of the giraffe, and interersting patterns on his coat. Great idea of Mork's with the conversion.
