Thought I would post something besides a bear.
This image probably has the least amount of processing of any image I've posted. Every time I tried something in my workflow it changed it in a way that didn't look correct.
I like the image because of the nice background in Mountain Zebra National Park and I like the colors of this endangered species (mountain zebras). I do wish she hadn't just been rolling in the dirt though. Left the grass in the mouth for authenticity.
Canon 1D Mark IV, 500 F4, ISO 800, F 9 at 1/500 sec.
minor tweaks in LR and levels and curves. Had to add vibrance after conversion to sRGB.
Comments always appreciated. To me not a wall hanger but I think it's a good image of a very rare species and was glad to get it.

Lovely light and classic side-on profile Stan. Colours look consistent for the place and time of day overall.
I love the backdrops in MZNP, a very underrated national park in South Africa. Do you know they've now also reintroduced lions after the cheetah adapted so successfully? You can now theoretically see 4 of the big 5 (no elephants) there.
great light for this zebra. I might would turn down a bit the highlights in the RHS of the face. Just a thought, overall I do like the BG very much as well.
Nice light and warm colours combined with the pose and a beautiful backdrop adds a lot to this image.
If it were mine I might bring down the highlights on the left 'cheek' of the zebra.
Hi Stan - this is really nice and the "less is more" pp has worked a treat here. Beautiful bg and light with nice use of dof. Good suggestion above and also watch the halo along the back. Well done.
