    Default Terek Sandpiper

    Terek Sandpiper, a winter visitor to our part of the world. This image is shot at Pulicat Lake, second largest brackish water lake or lagoon in India. The lake is connected to the sea (Bay of Bengal) and the water level here increases/decreases based on the tides (high/ low).

    Nikon D800E, Nikon AF-S 300mm f4 + Nikon AF-S 14TE II
    EXIF: 420mm | f6.3 | 1/1250 | ISO 400 | EV -1/3
    Handheld, shot from a rocking boat
    Post Processing done with Photoshop: Cropped, levels/ curves adjusted, Sharpened a bit.

    I would take some of the bottom and clone the white circle on the left.

    Nice striding pose. Not an easy capture from a rocking boat! I like Emanuel's suggestions above.
