HI Everyone!
Hi Everyone. My name is Randy and I’ve been a lifelong outdoor and wildlife enthusiast. On a recent trip to Taiwan, I found a small group of serious photographers shooting a Taiwan Barbet in the middle of Taipei. An afternoon with them inspired me to try my hand at wildlife photography, so I started off earlier this year with a handheld Canon 7D and a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L lens. I have no previous experience or training, so I’m eager to learn and improve. I’ve seen such remarkable pictures on this site, I know it’s going to be a great source if inspiration and knowledge. Thanks!
I currently live in Valencia California (near Los Angeles). You can view some of my shots on my Wild Neighbors page: https://www.facebook.com/WildNeighbors

A big welcome to BPN, a great place to learn and grow as a nature photographer.
Look forward to seeing your images, and please take the time to comment on other folks images, as it is a great way to train your eye, and also helps build a sense of community!
Cheers
Randy

Welcome to BPN Randy! The 7D + 100-400mm duo was my workhorse combo for a number of years...still use the 7D and the 100-400 is still part of my kit. Looking forward to your participation!
