Walking in the Giant City Park with grandsons this weekend, I spied what my grandmother would have called "ghosty trees."
Adjusted the color balances and used Topaz.

Almost like stained glass, just gorgeous!!! Love your treatment.
Why ghostly trees?? Did your Grandmother say??
Just curious as I always see souls in trees.
Hazel, I've always loved the stained glass effect with trees and Topaz. The touches of orange make this a nice Halloween image.![]()

Thanks. Anything that looked dark and ominous---trees, abandoned houses, etc. she would call ghosty.
SO well done! All we need is an Owl! Love your work!

Wonderful image. I like the composition and the stained-glass look--what Topaz filter did you use? It would be nice to see the same effect on the leaves along the lower half of the right border, and those in the lower left corner. Lovely colors.
Hi Hazel, this looks great and I love that effect that Simplify gives between the branches. It reminds me of silkworm webs or stained glass. Love the colors in the sky.

Yes, very nice!
Anita, it was Topaz simplify and honestly I was playing around instead of taking notes as I should.
